The possible role of tyrosine kinase receptors as targets
for drugs is covered in this program. After using the program students
should:
be aware of the molecular structures of the different types
of tyrosine kinase receptors;
know the mechanisms by which they produce their intracellular
effect;
understand particularly how insulin interacts with its receptors.
System Requirements
The package is supplied on a CD-ROM Installation Disc and can
be installed to a local hard disc or network drive. The minimum
requirement is an IBM-type PC, 386 25MHz or better, 4Mb RAM, VGA
monitor, Windows 3.1 and mouse.
