Users learn how to use a stethoscope to record heart sounds and relate these to valve action in the cardiac cycle. The relation between heart sounds and the electrocardiogram is also explored. Qualitative and quantitative differences between the various heart sounds are highlighted, and murmurs are introduced.

System Requirements

This package runs under Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. It will run on a stand-alone workstation, or across a network. The minimum requirement is an IBM compatible PC 80486 computer with 4Mb of RAM, and a VGA monitor capable of 256 colours in 640 x 480 resolution. The package is supplied as an easy-to-install floppy disc set on 3.5' discs. For conditions of use, see Order Form.
