Summary

Screen shot from the package
Users are introduced to leads and vectors, and shown how they can use electrodes to measure the vectors of the electrocardiogram on each other. Coverage includes Einthoven’s triangle and positioning of electrodes for standard, augmented and chest leads. In the Analysis section users are shown how to recognise key features and make basic interval and magnitude measurements. They can see how the Cardiac Axis is derived, and are introduced to the idea of cardiac deviation. The Review section includes a quiz in which users are prompted to examine some electrocardiogram traces and suggest possible abnormalities. These are then related to some common cardiac disorders.
