This package aims to impart a practical appreciation of fundamental research methods in health research which underpin data collection. This includes an appreciation of research design, structured and unstructured interviewing and questionnaire research techniques. It incorporates a description of qualitative and quantitative research methods and how to handle primary data. It is based on a text by Oppenheim which is essential reading for the lesson. As each student will need to purchase or have access to the following:

System Requirements

This package runs under Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. It will run on a stand-alone workstation, or across a network. The minimum requirement is an IBM compatible PC 80486 computer with 4Mb of RAM, and a VGA monitor capable of 256 colours in 640 x 480 resolution.
