This is one of two pharmaceutical expert systems developed by CoAcS. It comprises a suite of programs, the principal one accepts data related to a drug, and using rule based or decision tree logic generates a formulation designed for filling into hard gelatin capsules. It is currently in its fourth edition and has been installed by Capsugel for use by many major multinational pharmaceutical companies. It is recognised utility for formulators and has been the subject of a number of presentations and publications.
