The brief for this project was to produce an electronic version of a well know pharmaceutical reference book. It is not simply an electronic version of the text but incorporates a wide range of searching facilities. The information was supplied as Word files and a Visual Basic program was written to convert this to HTML and generate the necessary indexing material. The final package was supplied in two forms, of identical appearance and functionality, but using different code, one for use in a Windows environment and one for use on an intranet.
