The conference was organised by the Directorate General of the Royal Hospital, Ministry of Health and participated by visiting and local experts and consultants. The conference, held under the theme: Promotion of safe Pharmacy Practices was aimed to enhance the role of pharmacists towards ensuring safe job practices and minimising medication errors and drug side effects. Dr Ahmed gave an oral presentation titled: Medicines Information Service: Electronic Management of MI Data. Dr Ahmed and Mr Brown also organised a hands-on workshop for MI pharmacists on the use of MiDatabank database.
