Dr Abdu Ahmed (Director of Overseas Operations for CoAcS) and senior managers from nine other UK Healthcare companies visited Riyadh and Jeddah from the 2nd-6th of March 2008 to explore trade opportunities with Saudi companies.

The delegation visited Riyadh (2-3 March) and Jeddah (4-6 March) and was jointly organised by UK Trade & Investment and the Association of British Healthcare Industries. The Mission was led by David Hawkins, Healthcare/Lifescience Specialist at the London offices of UK Trade & Investment. Syed Zaman, British Embassy in Riyadh and Abdul Muqtadar at the British Consulate General in Jeddah, Siraj Kahn UKTI London providing in-Kingdom support and programme arrangements.

During their visit to the Kingdom, the group visited some of the leading hospitals in Riyadh and Jeddah meeting Saudi businessmen and officials at networking receptions being hosted by the Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah.
