MiDatabank now available in Sudan

Medicines and Poison Information Center (MPIC), Military Medical Services Khartoum, has become the first centre to use MiDatabank in Sudan

MiDatabank is a Windows software application that enables Medicines Information Pharmacists to record, manage and store their enquiries. It is the national system that has been adopted by the UK Medicines Information Network which comprises over 200 centres in hospitals throughout the UK.

Dr Abdu Ahmed, visited Sudan end of June 2008 and held workshops and training sessions for MI Pharmacists in the centre on the use of Mi Databank. The Centre will be using MedicinesComplete as their core database for medicines information.
