CoAcS Ltd participated in the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences conference in Nottingham which took place between September 1st- 3rd 2010
CoAcS Ltd in collaboration with the National Medicines and Poison Board (NMPB), Khartoum organised a training course on Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Compliance and Inspection. The course took place between 15th -17th August 2009 and was conducted by Dr Gerry Prout and Dr Abdu Ahmed.
CoAcS ltd in collaboration with the PHSS, conducted a training course on: Fundamental Application of GMP in Khartoum, Sudan between 3rd -6th March 2009.
Dr Abdu Ahmed visited Saudi Arabia in February 2009 as invited speaker at a symposium organised by the Council of Health Ministers for Cooperation Council States. The symposium which was entitled: Pharmaceutical Care in Community Pharmacies - The Role of Pharmacist was held in Riyadh on 17th and 18th February 2009. Dr Ahmed gave two oral presentations at the conference, entitled: "Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Pharmacists" and another one entitled "A Standardised Medicines Database: Implication for medicines information and pharmacy labelling system"
Dr Abdu Ahmed visited Saudi Arabia in July 2008 as invited speaker at Saudi Pharmaceutical Society (SPS) first summer meeting held at Taif on 8-9 July. Dr Ahmed gave two oral presentations at the conference, entitled:” MiDatabank – Software for Medicines Information Services” and “collegeofpharmacy.com: A Virtual College of Pharmacy”.
CoAcS Ltd participated in the Arab Health Exhibition which took place from January 28th- 31st at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC). The Arab Health exhibition and congress is the region's leading healthcare event for the Middle East bringing healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors together with some of the most important and influential decision-makers in the Arab world. About 50,000 visitors attended this year's exhibition.
The Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT) has evolved to be one of the most important annual pharmaceutical events since its inception in 1995. Duphat is well attended by key decision makers and procurement officials from leading national, regional, and international hospitals, health centres, governmental departments, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and international associations due to its exclusive status as a meeting point for all sections of the global pharmaceuticals and technologies sphere.
Dr Abdu Ahmed (Director of Overseas Operations for CoAcS) and senior managers from nine other UK Healthcare companies visited Riyadh and Jeddah from the 2nd-6th of March 2008 to explore trade opportunities with Saudi companies.
Square Pharmaceuticals ltd. have been working with CoAcS to achieve international regulatory approval. After inspection by the MHRA they received their GMP certificate in May becoming the first company in Bangladesh to do so.
