The package consists of very condensed data. I suppose that from the student's point of view it is the most convenient way of learning. However, it seems to me that this software cannot be aimed at neither beginning or advanced students for two reasons.Firstly, it requires some background on molecular biology or biochemistry. Secondly, the knowledge presented there is fairly superficial, making a mixture ofsome laboratory protocols with little theory. For this reason I think that this package is helpful in doing revisions in the sutuation where students normallymake use of a textbook and a laboratory manual and have basic knowledge which can be visualised and understood thanks to this software.Surely it should be aimed at intermediate students.

From my point of view this package has one technical imperfection: the toolbar contains option"copy" which remains constantly inactive. If it worked it would be really helpfulin preparing some slides for seminars or lectures.

Unfortunately, this package does not introduce the PCR method, which is one of unquestionable value and significance. I see this as a grest disadvantage.

Besides, the software has few advantages: it makes one understand the processes thatare described, presents them in readable animatons and allows students tomake quick revisions. Therefore I consider it as a helpful supplementary learning aid for intermediate students.
