From the students point of view, this is a very interesting, intuitive,easy to use, interactive programme, with a very important quantity ofinformation and which things are explained with a lot of precision.
In our opinion, it is a very useful programme in reference to the basicaspects of the recombinant DNA technology, which allow to remember andreview topics not only in relation with the subject Advance inBiotechnological Therapy but also of another subject such as MolecularBiology.
Although sometimes is a few repetitive, we think it is well designedshowing an scheme of the explanation at the beginning of the programme andafter a series of questions which help the people to maintain theattention. Colours joint to animation in the different steps of theprogramme also help to finish to understand concepts.
In general and in our opinion, not only the programme but also the contentis satisfactory, making up a very important tool for the self-learning.Even can do students take interest in the topic.
As less positive indications and taking in account that we are pharmacystudents, we note the lack of doing some mention to drugs. In any part ofthe programme appear the word drug. We consider that it will be veryinteresting some reference to biotechnological drugs which are obtained bymean of this recombinant DNA technology.
Also, and of course in our opinion, we consider that perhaps could beinteresting to think in the possibility of translating this and otherprogrammes of PCCAL to other languages (Spanish or Catalan in our case) tomake better use of this teaching method.
