The following aims were devised at the outset of the study: to
evaluate the courseware that has currently been produced in order to
establish its effectiveness in teaching undergraduate pharmacy students in terms of learning
outcomes and efficiency and to improve and enhance future courseware
development and products. A project definition statement was then
produced, incorporating specific objectives to evaluate separate elements of these aims and to take account of the issues cited in the following sections.
