FROM THE SECTIONS YOU STUDIED, WHAT, IF ANYTHING, DID YOU FIND DIFFICULT TO GRASP?

ANY FURTHER COMMENTS OR OBSERVATIONS

00191

Legal requirements/correct dispensing of prescriptions, labels and PILs

Use of the packages, aims, objectives et.

1.5 hrs.

00291

How many little things you need to know 2nd nature - how far you are from that now.

Where the different requirements for labels would be best located for clarity. That there was nothing wrong with some of the scripts.

The difference between different classes of CDS and which had special prescription requirements.

I spent the time allowed on the package . I would have spent more time on the computer if we were permitted. I would have got more from the package then. I felt it was a race against time and was embarrassed to make useful notes. Once you had revised class material, the Prescription test would be good.

00381

Practice of Pharmacy revision.

Prescriptions

1hr 20 mins.

00491

How a pharmacist can check prescriptions etc. and dispense under the legal requirements with correct labelling.

The prescription section - understood the regulations etc., from previous practice of pharmacy classes.

Most things were easy to grasp after explanations were given when I didn't give the right answer.

About 1.5 hours on computer. well presented, tests were a little long perhaps for the time allocated.

00591

Law and Practice of Pharmacy. Particular areas to be careful of.

Labels.

Some of prescriptions.

One and a half hours. This package is extremely useful and will be very good for revision.

00693

Prescriptions, labels, patient information leaflets.

1 hour 30 mins.

00791

Logic and legal reasons behind, labelling prescription requirements and patient leaflets.

Prescription requirements.

N/A

1.5 hrs. Perhaps the 'Give up' sign could appear sooner as you don't always have 3 options to try first. So it's time consuming and frustrating pressing CONTINUE & COMPLETE unnecessarily just to find the answer. A programme similar to the one applied to Patient information. Leaflets where there's a button for 'correct answer' at all times may work.

00891

You were meant to increase your knowledge in practice of pharmacy.

The first section was easiest to grasp.

I found the end of the session harder to grasp, when we had been on the computers for some time.

1.5 hrs. Very useful, although possibly more time needed on it and may be better in two shorter sessions.

00981

Revision and refresher course on subjects studied in previous practical classes.

Labelling and other requirements.

The patient information leaflets. It was relatively new, so learning and remembering was more difficult.

Spent full 1.5 hrs on package. Thank you for the refresher course.

One hour and a half, very useful especially for revision.

01291

The legal requirements for all types of prescriptions, labelling and patient information leaflets.

Using the package was easy as it led you through step by step.

To click on words that were yellow or purple - I kept forgetting about them - maybe they should flash for a second or something to remind people.

1.5 hrs. I think you should be told approx. how long the package takes so you don't rush and miss bits out to get it finished. If you knew approx. how long you could pace yourself properly.

01391

Legal requirements etc. required for prescriptions and labelling (for various different types of prescriptions - private, NHS, CD's, Dental etc.)

Format that each section was laid out in.

Nothing.

90 minutes - very helpful for POP time test and problem spotting. I would definitely come in again and make notes from the package.

01492

Legal requirements for dispensing and labelling, to enable a pharmacist to dispense lawfully.

Most of the material was laid out in an easy to follow manner.

1hr 45 mins.

01591

As a revision.

Every part is easy to understand.

No

2.5 hrs. (including questions).

01691

Errors on prescriptions.

Label setout.

1.5 hours.

01791

How prescriptions should be written correctly, requirements etc. Labelling requirement, recognising incorrect labelling.

01991

Legal and ethical requirements of prescriptions, labels and PILs and how to become familiar with same

All of it

None of it

Half an hour. It was far too easy and rather an insult to the intelligence. On some of the prescriptions it was obvious what was wrong but not obvious where to click (especially the private ones).

What should be included and what shouldn't on the different types of labels and prescriptions

1.5 hours. Weren't sure if, eg quantity missing on prescriptions, to click on space or drug. Highlighting bits of the label - no extra info. - bit of a waste of time perhaps.

3381

Information which is highly relevant if you are going to be a community pharmacist

Important information points were highly emphasised

Nothing
