The module also contains a self-evaluation exercise.

Module 3 A brief introduction to common liver function tests and their significance in disease diagnosis. Attention is given to the following tests: Serum protein levels (albumin and globulin) Prothrombin time Gamma-GT levels Bilirubin levels Amino transferases Alkaline phosphatase Within each module, material is arranged in a series of pages, each dealing with a fundamental description or concept. Information of increasing complexity is presented as a sequence of layered windows within each page. Each layer is revealed by clicking on hot text or diagrams in the current screen display. The program design provides the student with control over the depth and complexity of study.
