Windows Software

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Set-up should launch automatically. If it does not, open the Add/Remove Programs applet from the Control Panel and click on the Install button.

Please note that the 32 bit software comprises of exe files and there are no system files or run-time systems required.

Web Software

  1. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Set-up should launch automatically. If it does not, open the Add/Remove Programs applet from the Control Panel and click on the Install button. Install the software to the designated web server*

  2. The full version of the Authorware web-player should be installed on the browsers running on client computers. This can be obtained from http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/index.fhtml

  3. The following mime types should be available on your web server:

application/x-authorware-map aam
application/x-authorware-seg aas
application/x-authorware-bin aab

* The software has been protected so that it will only work when accessed from the host address that you have already provided to us

Please note:

    • The web software can be installed on any web server (e.g. Apache, IIS).
    • It is compatible with Browsers running on a PC using Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 4 or better. We recommend the use of the latest version of Internet Explorer.
    • It is not compatible with Browsers running on Macintosh or Unix/Linux
    • Java and Javascript should be enabled on browsers.
